In Memorium: John Updike

You may have heard the news about the recent passing of Pulitzer Prize winning author, John Updike. Well known for Rabbit Run, Pulitzer Prize winning Rabbit is Rich and Rabbit at Rest, as well as The Witches of Eastwick, and many others, John Updike was one of my favorite authors.

To commemorate John Updike's recent passing, beginning today and rolling out in the next week, Architectural Digest will feature four articles written by the author for Architectural Digest.
Updike, a frequent "Guest Speaker” for AD, contributed a series of articles remembering the towns and houses in which he and his family lived:
Guest Speaker: John Updike, January 1985 .
New York: John Updike An Exile's Impressions, November 1988 .
Spat - An Architectural Digest Fiction, March 1989 .
The Houses of Ipswich, June 1990
He will be missed.
