Master Bedroom - San Francisco Designer Showcase 2011

 Matt Murphy is the man responsible for this Master Bedroom Masterpiece at the San Francisco Decorator Showcase this year. Glamorous and dramatic, this space is full of style, from the graphic area rug from Aubrey Angelo to the Biedermeier Secretary and Four Poster Bed from the Matt Murphy Studio.

 Matt designed many of the furniture and accessory pieces in this room. He designed the nightstand lamps (and will be offering a new lighting line very soon!) as well as the gorgeous chaises. In fact so many of the furnishings came from the Matt Murphy Studio, you will just have to give them a call for all of the details!

 And speaking of details, no detail was left to its own devices. Matt thought of everything. There is a bar cart for one's morning coffee, a vanity where one might get a beautiful start to the day....or one may just lose track of time basking in the comfort of that gorgeous leather chair.

 Everywhere I looked, there was another grouping of treasures....art, beautiful lamps, and the perfect accessories.

 I thought I was sated with seeing the Master Bedroom.....but there was a special treat in store in the closet! What girl doesn't get a little thrill when confronted with a beautiful dress? The designer of these gorgeous gowns just so happened to be a member of the very generous family who owns the  the Showcase premises! The charming and stylish James Tarantino treated us all to a  viewing of a small part of his collection.....

The San Francisco Decorator Showcase is open through the end of May....there is so much more to see, and I will not be able to post about it all! So get on over and take a gander.
