I have been debating back and forth about this post this week. These pictures are of the kitchen in my first little house with one bathroom and very little square footage. We were so excited to be buying our first house and had very little money to remodel. We did alot of the work ourselves and used very affordable materials. My addiction to garage sales and flea markets is very well represented here! Well, life, finances and tastes have changed. It has been a long time since our daughters have fit into one bathroom, so we have not lived here for a long time , but I will always have the fondest of memories in my first little kitchen :

All new cabinetry: open shelving and glass doors opened it up.

I loved my old Wedgewood stove and my big splurge, a custom hood.
